I’m a journalist who focuses on healthcare and mental health. I have a decade of experience in both breaking news and long-form investigations among outlets like The Nation, The Baffler magazine, The Sunday Star-Times and The Irish Times.

In 2019, after winning the Peter Acland fellowship, I moved from New Zealand to New York to work at The Baffler. I’m currently the magazine’s staff writer. I also do a lot of fact-checking and occasionally freelance.
